1. What d2cbid is
d2cbid.lol ("d2cbid", "we") operates a bid-to-rank advertising leaderboard for direct-to-consumer (D2C) brands. Brands pay a placement fee to hold a position on a public ranking board. Position is determined solely by the secured bid amount; ties are broken by the earlier payment time.
One placement fee secures one position for thirty (30) days across the global board and every category the brand selected at listing time. Increasing a bid requires paying only the difference to the target slot's current price and resets the 30-day window.
2. Merchant of record & payments
Payments are processed, invoiced, and taxed by Dodo Payments ("Dodo") acting as merchant of record and our authorized reseller. By placing a bid you enter into a purchase with Dodo on our behalf. Prices are quoted and charged in US dollars. Dodo's own terms apply to the checkout transaction.
We never see or store your card details. We retain a reference to your order solely to activate and administer your placement.
3. Eligibility & prohibited listings
A listing must represent a real, functioning business with a publicly accessible website. You must be authorised to act for the brand you list.
Prohibited: unlawful products or services; adult content; weapons; illegal drugs; gambling offered unlawfully; counterfeit goods; malware, phishing, or deceptive sites; listings that mislead about brand identity, origin, or category membership.
We may pause or remove any listing that breaches these terms, without refund (see Refund Policy).
4. Your responsibilities
You confirm all listing information (name, description, logo, website URL, categories) is accurate and that you hold the rights to the materials you upload. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Category selection must reasonably reflect what your brand sells. We may remove a listing from a category we judge unrelated, without changing its global rank or fee.
5. Content licence
You keep ownership of your brand content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to display it on d2cbid.lol (leaderboards, profile pages, feeds, badges) for the duration of your placement and any archive period.
6. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee traffic, conversions, sales, search-engine outcomes, or uninterrupted availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the service is limited to the placement fees you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
7. Changes & termination
We may modify these terms; material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
You may stop using the service at any time; active paid placements remain until expiry unless removed under section 3.
